Description: There are a few resiliency programs out there. Many don’t use evidence-based techniques. And those that rely on “positive thinking” or the passion of a motivational speaker, for example, are doomed to fail. The staff resiliency and Growth (STRENGTH) program is a peer-support program that addresses major workplace distresses by helping employees and teams build resilience. By developing resiliency using the STRENGTH Program, staff bounce back quickly, solve their own problems efficiently, and continue productive work, even in the face of stressful challenges. This presentation will introduce how this multi-part program works. Breaking down each step and discussing how it can be applied to your workplace.
- Introduce the STRENGTH program and how it works.
- Address burn-out and how to build resilience in the face of challenges.
- Determine how STRENGTH can be applied to your workplace.
